Description de l’éditeur

Atlanta is a great place to live, but sometimes you want to get out of the metropolitan area and into the woods. Here is a book with 10 great day hikes, ranging from the easy to the challenging. Hikes detailed are: Arabia Mountain, Brasstown Bald, Cheatham Hill, Cooper Creek, Gahuti, Laurel Ridge, Sawnee Mountain, Stone Mountain, Blood Mountain, and Jack's Knob. Each hike include information about the elevation gain, distance, and a trail rating documenting the difficulty factor of the trail. Each trail has a description of the history, photographs of the trail (you could even hike it "virtually" if you wanted), and a downloadable GPX track of the hike. You can download the hike coordinates and follow them as you hike the trail.

No longer do you have to struggle with trying to find the trailhead, as the hikes have a link to a GPS map to guide you to the trailhead. Then, you can follow the trail on your smartphone with a downloadable GPS link. So get out of your chair, into the woods, and onto the trail!
