A Disappearance in Paris

 Looking for a fun and educational book to keep your children entertained while learning some French language and culture?  In this second book in the series, the  8-year old twins and their friend travel with their grandmother from Chicago to Paris.  They stay in an apartment near the Eiffel Tower, visit some sights and learn some French.  They experience different food and culture and solve the mystery of the disappearance of the dog Tulipe.  It's hoped that the older siblings will read this to the younger ones and this highly illustrated book  gives clear indications of how French words are to be pronounced It ends with some language-learning activities.  Written for her own grandchildren by a grandmother who was a French teacher for many years, it has been kid-approved!
