Description de l’éditeur

Present day Philadelphia, where a lonely young man wakes to the mysterious sound of the Liberty Bell, a bell that hasn't chimed in centuries. And in his case, as he's about to find out, the bell tolls for thee. For the bell has awoken some old ghosts, ghosts from a place called Gettysburg - the most haunted place in the world, where the infamous battle once raged. Compelled to visit Gettysburg, and not knowing why, he does and comes across a pair of old grave markers. Shockingly, he discovers one belongs to him, and the other to an unknown woman. It is the beginning of a journey that takes him back in time to 1863, and a chance meeting with a battlefield nurse. A love story that developed shortly before the start of the battle and into the violent wage of war, where it was tragically cut short. But the past spills into the present and renews what should have been - the rebirth of their love under the watchful eye of a bell called Liberty.
