A Grim Fairy Tale

Imprisoned by robot overlords, Caila Rogier has only 49 years of sense-deprived existence at backbreaking labor to look forward to. Less than a third of the way through her sentence, the robots wipe out her existence and force her into a warrior training program where they develop her physically and mentally to be a solitary killer and a member of a new robot force. Before the robots can realize their plans, a force of humans, cyborgs, and fantastic warriors from humankind's past, strike, destroying the robot army. Trapped in a robot body with her robot master, Caila learns to survive and flourish in this new form in a hard world.
