A Long Drunk and a Breakfast

Retired Air Force officer Sam Golden reflects on the time he spent in the Azores in the 1950s. As a young officer, the experiences, relationships and choices he made at that time changed his life and had a significant effect on his future. The risks he took, the close calls he had, the places he saw, the experiences and the loves of that period left an indelible impression.
