A Narrow Escape

Elephant poaching is the illegal hunting and killing of elephants. The poachers want to get special things from the elephants like their skin, tusks or bones. They sell these things to make clothes, jewellery, and other stuff.

Elombe is an Elephant who lives in the Congo Basin. He had heard stories about poaching all his life and the things he heard were not good. Elombe did not believe he would meet a poacher and live to tell the story.
