How a tall, lanky kid from the Omaha Housing projects spent a lifetime helping others top their dreams. Above and Beyond recounts the long and grateful life of Dr. Rodney S. Wead. The beatings at the hands of "fake" police officers, blatant racism, and discrimination in his adulthood, paled in comparison to the pains of the abject poverty endured by the young Mr. Wead in north Omaha, NE.
