A resident of the Brim planetoid survives a global catastrophic event which blocks regular sunlight and shades the land in textures of gray during single day cycles. He suffers memory loss during a totalitarian government takeover of the planetoid amidst environment ruins. Government overlords impose laws which control all aspects of existence, including body dismorphism intended to create worker and soldier classes to achieve their total domination of all civilizations.
