Mac has always been an addict.
First it was to athletics, then
smoking, then women…then,
Life?
As a rising project manager, Mac
reluctantly accepts an
assignment to straighten out a
project in Germany that is
floundering, to say the least. It
is a diplomatic assignment, one
that he is not certain he wants,
especially when it means
displacing a delicious
opportunity in Brazil.
Then he meets a mysterious
lawyer, an American who is both
intriguing and beguiling. Once
more, he finds himself hooked–
into more ways than he
bargained.
This suspenseful drama plays out
in 1970's West Berlin, where his
loyalties are severely tested.
