Description de l’éditeur
STRONG FORCES SWEEP INTO TOWN, SECRETLY, often unannounced in the middle of the night. As dawn breaks, buildings are occupied by new owners. Inhabitants awake to find outsiders in their midst. The invaders use money and force to intimidate, bully, and buy loyalty. Bystanders watch the battle trying to decide which side they should join. Other observers wait quietly by the sidelines, preferring to wait until one side or the other has victory in sight before they declare their loyalties. The bystanders are told this is their last chance to make a choice. They are told they cannot survive the way they are. They are told that early supporters will have greater spoils of victory than late supporters. Is this Lexington. 1776? Russia 1917?
