al Ghazzali On the Treatment of Pride and Conceit

The treatment of pride and conceit according to al-Ghazzali is to develop the virtue of humility. He speaks of the nature of pride and its harm, the degrees of pride, and the causes of pride and their treatment in addition to conceit and its harms and the treatment of the moral sickness of conceit. This is Book XXIX of Part Three of the Alchemy of Happiness entitled The Destroyers.
