Halloween is the most wonderful day of the year at the Charmed Inn, and Roxy is all about handing out candy to the kids and a little something yummy to the adults, courtesy of her lovely head chef.

All seems to be going like every other wonderful Halloween, until a teen comes staggering up onto the porch shouting that her friend is dead. The problem is, when Roxy goes to investigate, there's no body and no evidence anyone had been hurt, much less died.

Yet, there's something going on in their little town, and Roxy can't let it go just yet. Especially when the body is found in a trunk of a car on the ferry, heading to the other side of the river, and the driver of the car has been knocked out.

There's trouble afoot, and Roxy must figure out whodunnit before they do it again.
