For Justin Talemaker, "reading the room" means checking the game lobby. After a spectacular flameout gets him booted from his guild for zero social skills, he figures things can't get worse. Then an Oklahoma tornado transports him to Eyrth—a world operating on clear LitRPG mechanics. Finally, a system he understands!

Presented with a chance to build a new character IRL, Justin sees an opportunity to confront his greatest weakness. He deliberately selects the Socialite class. His plan? Decidedly dubious. Pour every stat point into Charisma and literally charm his way through life.

His grand self-improvement strategy hits a snag, however, when Eyrth proves less forgiving than anticipated. Skills like "Dandy's Swagger" are hilariously ineffective against monsters who are unimpressed with him preening like a peacock. Especially when everything but Charisma is a dump stat.
