Battling for Survival

It is a pivotal time in Pictish history. There are some who see problems in the Pictish kingdoms and signs that the Picts are losing their power over Scotland. When an old adversary sees it as an opportunity to overthrow the Picts, the battle begins. Secret alliances are made. Battle strategies are formed and a high stakes game of life and death unfolds. In this dramatic conclusion to Kiska’s Highland adventures, everything will be resolved. All the main characters have returned along with a host of new ones. They will be challenged mentally and physically. In the end there will be no cliffhangers. There is no room for error. Failure is equivalent to death and not everyone will survive.
