What possessed Takhi to team up with Yuri? He’s a bear who doesn’t take anything seriously—unless attempts to get into her pants count. He seems convinced they’ll end up in bed. Not in this lifetime, furball.

Her lips say no, but her eyes and body… Yuri knows it’s only a matter of time before Takhi realizes they’re meant to be together. In the meantime, they embark on a mission to eradicate all knowledge of Project Therianthrope, the nasty science experiment spearheaded by General Davidson and Dr. Levy.

However, they run into trouble early on—and by trouble Yuri doesn’t mean Takhi’s ability to deflect his panty-dropping smile. They’re not the only ones looking for answers. Patient Thirty-nine is on a quest to destroy all those it considers tainted like Takhi.
