Black Directive

The recovery was canceled.
The men were still out there.

A damaged message reaches Kai Kealoha through a channel that should have stayed dead. Its surviving orders record an aircraft cancellation, withdrawn support, and permission to burn an asset.

Ghost Nine follows the paperwork into Black Directive. Freight records, disputed payments, and a patient kept under a reference number begin to connect decisions made far from the men carrying them out.

A witness can give the records a name. A civilian inquiry can force someone to answer. Both can also expose people the team has no authority to protect.

Kai must preserve the evidence and reach the people behind it before the next correction closes their trail.

Black Directive is Book 4 of Ghost Nine, a military thriller of abandoned recoveries, disputed custody, and the people left waiting when support is withdrawn.
