Black Tide Rising

Strange things are happening on remote Nootka Island. A woman is missing and an ancient totem has been destroyed. Retired cop Dan Connor is pulled into the search to find her but the only clue he has is a pool of blood. When he learns Walker, his native friend, has ties to the small community, Dan recruits him to help.

Walker's tracking skills point the search in the right direction, but the body they find is not the woman but a young boy. Tthe two men, each from a very different culture, combine their skills and resources to launch a manhunt for a kidnapper and a killer.
