Following her counterproposal back in Dubai that she wouldn't fight Cillian if and when they happened to bump into each other in England, Amira is caught off-guard when fate throws them back together in Edinburgh a few months later. And Cillian is hard pressed to hold her to her promise.

And while Amira, caught between a rock and hard chest, is fighting the growing tension at home, she is also contemplating the enticing offer to work for her friend Denise in Boston.

She needs this change: a new city, new colleagues and, hopefully, a chance to let go of the past.

But fate has other things planned. And when yet another opportunity for an offshore tryst presents itself, Amira must come to terms with her true feelings. And what that means for her future.
