Matthew Rode has a problem; he's still alive. Just hours ago, he was perched atop a Boston parking garage about to make the leap of all leaps. Now, he has been committed to a psychiatric hospital and needs to find out what went wrong.  And then there are the dreams.

When he was a boy, Matthew had a life-changing accident that led to many things: a new group of friends, an unstoppable gang of enemies, and a metal rod in his leg. The limp he would carry his entire life, along with the weight of the sins he has committed - and those he must stop. Can he save those he loves? Can he save his mind? More importantly, can he save himself? Through flashbacks and nightmares, Matthew must discover what is the truth, how to heal, and whether or not he deserves to.
