After a freak accident killed his wife and son, Pritchard slipped into alcoholism to drown his sorrows at a blue-collar bar nearby to avoid the dead and empty house. But then a teenage girl asked for his help, and it turned his entire existence around.

Running at everybody else's problems to avoid facing his own has put Pritchard and his friends on a path that will upend all their lives now. What started as some fun vigilante business here and there gets them mixed up in a case that they can't handle on their own, and it has far-reaching consequences that leave them with a difficult choice.
