But when Abilene's ex is released from prison, he's determined to find her and the daughter he's just found out he has. Casey and Abilene must fight tooth and nail for their budding romance and the safety of their families. McKenna creates flawed yet relatable characters, and her plotting is deft. Readers will look forward to spending more time in Fortuity.
