Callan

Callan is a unique 16 year old growing up in Zambia. Her perfect life seems ruined when her beloved mother Astrid dies from cancer.
Callan is grief stricken; her aura shines out like a beacon to the sprite, Seela, who comes to her aid, helping to heal Callan’s great loss.
Seela also teaches Callan magical abilities which will assist her in her new role as a Helper.
Callan is to travel to Zimbabwe and help rescue Sam Tembo, the son of a rebel leader. Seela acts as Callan’s guide and navigator. She and Callan are able to connect their thoughts and see impending danger plus Seela can help overcome the many obstacles they encounter.
Callan journeys to meet with Sam, and his friend David. They have been captured by the malevolent Sergeant Esa who intends to ransom Sam for his father. Can Callan help them escape and then lead them out of Zimbabwe to safety?
