Description de l’éditeur
I write Capoeira $lave Ritual with the tongue of Australian, Brazilian, French, Spanish, Italian and German taxpayers.
Brazilian Capoeira (Capuêra, Kaapoera, Capoera, Capuera…) was born as a warfare culture to oppose oppression and racism. Present-day Capoeira produces sports, music, crafts, meditative conditions and therapy to improve the well-being of our body and mind.
It was slavery that generated taxpayers/capueristas in Brazil. Hence, using a dollar sign [$] instead of the letter [s] I name the citizen's en$laved by rental, bank debts, credit cards, tax offices... as the real "$lave", aka capuerista.
The author informs how $laves with a messy ID sponsor irresponsible schooling and cause the bankruptcy of the Capoeira businesses.
Enjoy a divergent game in a "Capoeira Opera" that endorses the educational call of the movie "Monty Python Holy Grail" and the English TV series "Horrible Histories". The Capoeira Opera plays 3 Acts staged by educators, capueristas, TV and movie celebrities, athletes, artists and our employees in political, church, army jobs.
Capoeira Mestres History: Rei Zumbi, Pastinha, Bimba... and several photos of capueristas in action.
Via data and photos, look into the business and educational purpose of the Aussie Capoeira Schools and the history of the creation in 1994 of the Brazilian Community Council of Australia (BRACCA) in Sydney.
I teach music and write the Toques (rhythm and melody) of Capoeira in classical scores making updates to improve classical music notation that discriminates against other cultures.
Historical maps and my research add evidence about the traditions and beliefs of the oldest and new inhabitants of South America, Brazil, Australia, Europe, Africa, India and the USA associated with the bilingual and multi-ethnic culture and business of Capoeira.
The book features personal utterance from Mestre Bimba in Brazil and add speeches from former Capoeira champions (Mestre Acordeon Bira Almeida in the US and Gilson de Jesus living in Sydney-AU) that raise questions about the training of athletes and valuing of sports products that entrepreneurs of the Brazilian Federations and World Capoeira Federation (WCF) want to trade for the Olympic Games.
