In the 41st millennium, the human Imperium must fight a constant battle for survival against a myriad enemies who seek to destroy it. At the forefront of this battle stand the Space Marines, genetically engineered superhumans whose sole purpose is to fight – and win. When a tyranid hive fleet is detected dangerously close to the Sol system, two entire companies of Ultramarines are sent to find and destroy the aliens.
