Once again DI Mike Watson finds himself coming face to face with his old adversary, The Chameleon, whom he thought he had shot and killed years before. But this time, the assassin is here to help Mike escape unknown criminals, who have put out a contract on his life. As Mike and his family go on the run with his old enemy, he begins to realise that all is not what it seems. Soon starts a cat and mouse game, as Mike and his family run for their lives. How will it end? Once again there is a twist at the end of the novel that only the reader discovers.
