CASE DESCRIPTION The primary subject matter of this case concerns the management of expatriate managers with a particular focus on their recruitment and compensation. Secondary issues examined include the internationalization strategies of a multinational company and particularly the alignment of international strategy and headquarters' orientation regarding the international human resource management policy. The case has the difficulty level of six (appropriate for second year graduate level). The case is designed to be taught in three class hours and is expected to require five hours of outside preparation by students.
