China in an Age of Recession‪.‬

Byline: Ghani Jafar Please allow me, Mr Chairman, to set the stage for a brief overview of China in an age of recession by quoting from an op. ed. piece in The New York Times last September by Anatole Kaletsky, the well known economic analyst, in which he concluded that "the new model of capitalism will probably be made in China, like so much else in the world these days."1
