Clear Intentions

Kyleigh's mother was afraid the eighteen-year-old was going to get pregnant because of her wild carousing and staying out all night with her friends. However, Kyleigh had never even let a boy kiss her, and sex just didn't interest her. Despite that she was pressed into attending a Retreat with her parish priest at a West Texas Convent. It was there that Kyleigh met Sisters Judith and Saral who took her under their wing and setting her on the right path.

Now armed with a clearer focus of her future, Kyleigh entered college studying math and science. Accepting an internship with a tech company. Her boss was an MIT PhD. Sweet but socially hopeless, he was quite friendly and supportive. Through him she meets his wife, Wren. Kyleigh fell hard for Wren. She would blush and stammer like a fool around her.  If Wren grinned, she would melt. Their affair was brief but left a lasting impression on her.

Kyleigh was in and out of relationships, searching for romance while working on and achieving her own PhD. And teaching at a small college. Now rooming with a kindred spirit, Avery and her dog Max. Avery tried to cheer Kyleigh up from a recent breakup and take her mind off her worries. She told Kyleigh about a lesbian couple that just moved into their neighborhood and Kyleigh decided to take a walk and welcome her new neighbors. In so doing an epiphany inspired her, and her intentions became crystal clear.
