This ebook contains both book 1 and 2 of the series. Over 2 hours of live orchestral soundtrack from Two Steps From Hell composers Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix embedded in the book along with 84 illustrations from Otto Bjornik.

Une fusion audacieuse et réussi
Qui n'a pas un jour rêvé de lire un livre sur une musique parfaitement adaptée à son contenu ?
Dans Colin Frake Asclepius, récit, musique et illustrations s'unissent pour immerger le lecteur dans une histoire extraordinaire ou fantaisie et science fiction s'entremêlent. La musique comme les images supportent et complètent le récit en décrivant parfois bien plus que les mots une ambiance, un lieu ou les sentiments des personnages, ce qui est sans doute l'une des grandes forces de cet ebook.
L'autre point positif de ce récit est ses personnages attachants que tout semble séparer mais dont les histoires finissent immanquablement par se croiser et se rejoindre en formant un seul et même destin. Les rebondissements sont nombreux et imprévisibles ce qui rend le récit encore plus intéressant (et amènera sans doute de nombreux lecteurs à crier de frustration en atteignant la fin du livre).
Le récit est rythmé et le vocabulaire suffisamment simple pour être maîtrisé rapidement par un lecteur ayant un niveau correct d'anglais (même si quelques mots plus complexes pourront nécessité l'utilisation d'un dictionnaire pendant la lecture).
Seul bémol peut être les relations entre les personnages et leur état d'esprit aurait mérité davantage de développement dans la seconde partie alors qu'elles sont quelques fois à peine effleuré. Mais on excusera volontiers ce petit défaut en faveur de la densité du récit et de la simplicité du vocabulaire.
Pour résumer : à lire absolument si vous le pouvez.
