Description de l’éditeur

In 1904, Maude W. Russell established herself as a dressmaker and ladies' tailor. During this time, she realized how essential having a system of pattern cutting was to the success of her business. Her method simplified the craft of dressmaking then practiced in the early 1900s. In 1910, she began to teach dressmaking classes, passing her special system on to younger generations. She named her method the "Maude Russell System of Garment Cutting." After much experimenting and careful tests, she perfected her system and offered it to the public in the form of this volume, believing that its use would prove a great help not only to those who choose to make their living in the tailoring industry, but to any person who would desire to be well-dressed without breaking her bank.
