Contes de Fées Classiques
French Fairytales for the Modern French Learner
Description de l’éditeur
This is a collection of French fairytales originally from Les Cabinet des Fées, edited by Georges Gérard in the year 1858. Nine tales were taken from this collection and edited, formatted, and modernized for English-speaking students learning French today. They are written at an intermediate level and intended to help those learning the French language through exposure to the culture within the fairytales, more complex grammar, and also providing students with more interesting stories than simply reading a textbook.
