Dark Bat

A world building hobby shouldn't get out of hand. When Derrick gets the farm he always wanted, his imagination gets away with him. Soon, all the farm animals are trying to employ bodily control over him. He shakes it off and rides his tractor away from the Dark Bats.

The novelette includes mixed format text, with a strange and fantastic subplot broiling under the surface of the main story.

The story is a supernatural adventure, with elements of the Shidave shaman magic explained in detail along with the animals' role.
