Dark Secrets

The year is 1928. Jenny Couling lives at Holly Bank Farm in Gloucestershire with her father Garnett, two brothers, Jacob and Giles, and a dog named Dog. Her mother disappeared four years earlier because of Garnett's cruelty. Now it seems Jenny must suffer the same cruelty from her father and elder brother Jacob. But she proves to be a stronger person than she originally thought, and with the help of her close friend, Chas Hanks, overcomes many trials and tribulations and strives to move on.
