Dave Maynard Spin, The

Dave Maynard spent nearly 50 years in broadcasting. This book contains humorous and historical recollections of his career. Included are interviews with many legendary entertainers, including Connie Francis, "Fats" Domino, Julia Child, Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, and Paul Newman, to name a few. He spoke with political figures as well, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu. Included also are stories gathered from his travels as leader of the first tour groups ever allowed into Russia and China. He also hosted what is referred to as the forerunner to Star Search.
