Deacon Sam

Short story (or character sketch) about Sam, from my novel, Syzygy. Nice little story even if you didn't read Syzygy, especially if you're Catholic. :) Takes place after Syzygy.
Sam is a deacon on his way to becoming a priest. With Sam's too casual manner and messy appearance, Father O'Malley worries the young man doesn't have what it takes to make a holy priest. But Sam is more than he seems.
