Melur is a bored, frustrated teenager living in the tropics, fighting with her family, dissatisfied with life. Only difference - she's mer. When she rescues a drowning human man from his capsized sailing dinghy, two worlds that should have been separate, combine and conflict. Like the girl in Hans Christian Andersen's original story, Melur pays a price, with consequences she doesn't fully understand. This is a story about love, betrayal, and reality.
