Following the events of Misfiled for Murder, Daniel Smith decides to follow Simon Blueford into a world known as Aporium, while there he takes a course to become a detective. To Daniel's surprise, his teacher is murdered before the first class even begins. Can Dan figure out what happened and why it happened?
