Dino’s Story

Dino first appears in Backlash, both times with Ro as puppeteer.

Then, in The Deep End, after conferring with David, Evan decides Ro would be safest from draining if in her male avatar body.

Homophobic Langdon takes on the job of spending time with Dino. Their first session together in the kitchen takes place in Rescue & Restoration. Langdon not only ignores all the advice he received but has also forgotten all his manners.

Now we discover how that relationship evolved, culminating in Dino’s getting together with Taj, their tumultuous break-up, his abduction and escape.

We also learn about Dino’s very short and tragic first life while Ro hides in her most private Sanctuary, reminiscing over her previous lives. She is trying to keep ahead of the soul-suckers and rebuild her catastrophically damaged aura. All Ro can do for her poor broken body is to turn off the pain and let it start to heal itself naturally.

Ro is desperately trying to stay alive long enough for Zeke to find some solution to remove the soul-suckers from her case. But she has unwisely placed herself out of reach of help. Yet her enemies can get to her easily.
