Discerning Eyes

Aurora's parents were murdered right in their own home. And what's worse is that she walked in on the tail end of it. She was the police's only witness and all she could remember was being knocked to the floor as the assailant fled the scene. Without a description of the perpetrator or any solid leads, the case quickly hits a dead end, leaving Aurora with no other choice, but to accept her uncle's offer to come and stay with him and his new wife. Unfortunately, the transition doesn't go as smoothly as she had hoped. Her uncle is happy to see her, but her new aunt is very cold, the servants are suspicious of her and the dark, watchful stranger who keeps visiting the house keeps her nerves on edge. Then there's the accident. Now it seems that the person who murdered her parents is after her too and she doesn't know why.
