Why diversity Aside from the fact that the members of Catskill Area Writers come in all shades, religions and backgrounds, we feel that one of the greatest human strengths is our ability to learn from each other. Understanding what makes us different - beliefs, foods, music, art, attitudes - helps us to remember that we all embody different facets of the human condition.
