Diwa & Kaffi

The young human Diwa and his dragon-like tintrite best friend Kaffi have long dreamed of inheriting the positions of co-landlords from their fathers, as is expected of them. But they don’t want it handed to them -- they want to earn it through hard work and trust. Their close friends Anna-Nassi, an excitable semi-avian mandossi, and Cole, a human psychic vampire with a debilitating disability, join them in their quest to make their future a reality, and learn that everyone is an important and vital part of a community.

Their trust and love for each other deepens as their destiny becomes clearer yet more complex, and they also learn to accept and understand the several types of connections between themselves, their families and their community.
