DMZ-Hue-Da Nang

The series ‘Vietnam Strong & Flexible’ consist of nine volumes composing a travelogue from the northern mountains to the Mekong delta. Together the books offer plenty of historical notes and eye-opening facts leading to strong opinions and observations on culture, religion, economy, politics and social issues.


The sixth volume concentrates on the most northern part of what used to be South Vietnam. We start with the DMZ, we visit historic Quang Tri, the Imperial city of Hué and we end up in Da Nang. The text and the 108 original pictures offer the reader a holistic view of the way of life in this historic region. The beautiful scenery, the rich culture and the happy demeanor of the local people form the background.
