Imperia Encanto's only knowledge of the holiday season comes from holiday movies. Imperia struggles, not just with the holidays, but with the private school she and her sister Grace attend. As the daughters of one of the Princes Charming, the girls grew up with a certain amount of magical privilege, privilege that no longer exists in the "real world." So, when one of Imperia's few friends invites her on an exciting trip to an animal shelter, Imperia agrees.

But a fun adventure turns to instant disaster that threatens both her brand-new friendships and her connection to her sister.
