Dreamland Express

In Dreamland Express: Toymaker Town - A Christmas Edition, author Shea Miller invites young readers to climb aboard a sparkling train decorated with wreaths, ribbons, and twinkling lights. The children are ready for an adventure, and they hope to see Santa along the way.

Hold on to your seats and your cocoa! The train climbs high, twists through the sky, and swoops through falling snow. Inside, rosy-cheeked children share their Christmas wishes as they travel toward a town where Christmas magic lasts all year.

When they arrive, familiar toys spring to life. Drums beat a cheerful rat-a-tat-tat, dolls dance in Santa hats, toy trains swish past, and teddy bears sing. A jack-in-the-box waits for the perfect moment to surprise everyone with a joyful BOING!

The excitement continues overhead as reindeer race and loop through the northern skies before sweeping toward the snowy ground. Everywhere the children look, another magical sight is waiting.

Meanwhile, busy elves zip through town on snowboards, delivering messages and checking emails with a ding, ding, ding! Even with Christmas preparations underway, they still find time to sing and wave before returning to the workshop to help make toys for Santa to load.

Beyond the town stands Gingerbread Castle, glowing against the winter night. Inside, Santa checks dolls, trains, and boats while his helpers prepare toys and little notes. Each gift holds the promise of Christmas morning happiness for a girl or boy waiting at home.

Soon, Santa's sleigh will rise into the Northern Lights and travel over rooftops covered in snow. The children's adventure is drawing to a close, too. Nutcracker soldiers escort them back to the Dreamland Express for a sleepy journey home.

As Toymaker Town fades into the distance, excitement settles into quiet wonder. Sleigh bells, twinkling lights, and memories of the magical town follow the children into their dreams.

Told in playful rhyme and filled with colorful illustrations, this festive story celebrates Christmas wonder, friendship, and the joy of being together. Its lively journey gradually softens into a gentle goodnight, making it a cozy read-aloud for the holiday season.
