Drug War Chronicles

Miguel Santos lives on a coca plantation in a remote region of Colombia, situated on the Amazon jungle basin. He resides in an area where the civilian population is caught in the middle of the ongoing civil war between paramilitary forces and the guerrilla resistance. He lost his family at young age amidst the conflict. But he has tried his best to carry on with his life ever since then, and avoid picking up a rifle to join the violent struggle. However a military campaign launched by elite American soldiers, and their paramilitary allies, forces Miguel into a position where he can no longer avoid the violence. He is forced to confront the danger when his home is targeted by enemy forces, and he can no longer escape the peril.
