A la lecture de eating animals, on apprend comment est produite la viande dans notre assiette. Les recherches de Jonathan Safran Foer débute par son expérience personnelle et nous conduit à visiter les " fermes " industrielles américaines. Vous me direz, l'action se déroule aux USA, mais pensez vous Otis la taille de ces fermes, le bétail est réellement mieux traité ? Que les cages des poulets sont suffisamment grandes (même si l'EU demande qu'elles soient un peu agrandies), que les vaches mangent des la belle herbe bien verte dans leur pré ?
