Embracing Emily

The book "Embracing Emily" is the author's spiritual autobiography. The story is true, although fictionalized – using composite characters and events and changing most names, whether they are composites or not – in consideration of the privacy of others. The author braids her story together with a mythological kingdom that she created shortly after the death of her husband. The characters that live within this fairy-tale kingdom (archetypes) become aware that they are living within a book, as well as their powers of authorship as the author begins her search for her own powers…
