Nearly crippled in an accident as a youth, David Johnson has spent the years since that event practicing Karate and Aikido to strengthen himself. Thus far, his martial arts skills have come in handy for stopping bullying at his high school and standing up to gang members. But he never would have dreamed that one day he’d be transported into a 3,000-year-old colony of Jewish settlers, or that his sacred mission there would test his skills, his body, and his faith to limits he never knew he had.
