Forgotten Spring

Parris leaned back on xyr heels, studying xyr lovely little balcony garden. Stalks of corn with purple leaves towered over xyr head while beans with bright red leaves and electric blue flowers spilled across the balcony. Xyr tiny water garden held lovely fish the size of a bus deep under the surface of the water.

…Wait. Parris didn't have a balcony. Or a garden.

Xe fought as the impossible beans wrapped around xem, reaching into the water and finding far more than xe could ever have imagined.
