Fractions

Fractions is a new kind of interactive teaching and learning book. It introduces important concepts and methods concerning the topic of fractions in an explorative way. Its explorative approach makes it very well suited for the use in classroom as well as for individual learning sessions. Many exciting and fun interactive exercises help to get used to the topic of fractions in depth and literally get in touch with it. The book was developed at Technical University of Munich in collaboration of the TUM School of Education and the chair for Geometry and Visualisation. Targeted at sixth and seventh graders the book combines genuine educational approaches with the possibilities of modern technology. Many pictures, animations and interactive exercises create an exciting approach to a usually dry topic.
